Q: Where will practices be held?
A: We have a variety of practice locations including West Heights United Methodist Church (745 N. Westlink Ave) & the Wichita Sports Forum (2668 N. Greenwich).
Q: When does the club season start & end?
A: Club season begins after the KSHSAA school volleyball season is over. We will start official practices in November. Teams will practice until their last scheduled tournament in March or April.
Q: Teams play in tournaments? What is that like?
A: Club teams do play in tournaments. They are generally all day events on Saturday and/or Sundays. A typical one day event will start play at 8am. It will include pool play and bracket play in most cases. You can expect to be in the gym until at least 2pm. The longer you play, the better your team is doing.
Q: What is the governing body for club volleyball?
A: Heart of America Regional Volleyball Association (HOA) is the region we will be registered under. HOA is under USA Volleyball. The region includes all of Kansas and the western 2/3rds of Missouri.
Q: What do our club fees include?
A: Club fees include uniforms, a backpack, gym rental fees, coaches pay, and tournament entry fees. 15 and older teams will have access to a team Hudl subscription for game film & stats.
Additional costs beyond club fees are family travel costs and the HOA/USAV membership fee of $55 paid directly via SportsEngine.

A: All club fees are due by November 8th, 2024. This will allow the club to pay for all expenses needed in order for players to have uniforms and get into the tournaments selected for their team. Club volleyball is a very front loaded expense sport.

Q: My child wants to play volleyball in college. How will this help to meet their goal?
A: We have many resources and contacts to help your child pursue volleyball at the next level. Playing club volleyball is a large factor to being recruited in addition to film and reaching out to coaches. We will assist your child in the process every step of the way!

- 10s - includes 2 practices/week and 5 local tournament. Cost is $600 per player.
- Local - includes 2 practices/week and 6 local tournaments. Cost is $700 per player.
- Regional - includes 2 practices/week and 8-9 events. The majority of the events will be local with a couple larger two day events to include Regionals (or similar format 2-day) in the KC area. Cost is $900 per player.
- National - includes 2-3 practices/week and 8-9 events. Tournaments will be similar to Regional team events but also include entry into a National Qualifier. Cost is $1,000 per player. Additional qualifying events may be added to exceed the tournament budget and that cost will be divided evenly if voted/approved by parents to attend.
- Boys Team - includes 2-3 practices/week and 8-9 events. Cost is $800 per player.
